Pellucid Hawk Moth

I heard a buzzing sound while photographing for a Butterfly. I tracked the sound and found this beautiful creature. It looked like a fish to me,  I was amazed by its colours.

It has  green body  with multiple colours on the abdominal segments – White, Black, Red and Yellow. Its black  tail is spread like fish. Its wings are transparent and beat very fast making the buzzing sound. At first I thought it was a humming bird hawk moth. Later on research I found its name. Its Pellucid Hawk Moth. Also called Coffee clearwing.

Scientific name :Cephonodes hylas

It hovers over the flowers and uses long siphon to suck nectar from flowers.
