Twins

Atleast for my eyes they look similar. These two beautiful swallowtail butterflies look very similar. Its hard to differentiate for a commoner.

Crimson Rose butterfly and Common Rose butterfly.

Crimson rose – Scientific name  – Pachliopta hectorIt is a red bodied, black butterfly with white spots on the fore wing and red spots on the hindwing.

 

Common Rose – Scientific name – Pachliopta aristolochiae aristolochiaeIt is a red bodied black butterfly with white stripes on the forewing , red and white spots on hind wing.
